Hello Everyone,
I want to to send a huge Thank You to all who joined us for the 1st Lake Norman Green Drinks. We had a wonderful time with a great turn out. 25 "greenies" Including our local area we had guests from Winston-Salem to Waxhaw.
I feel extremely privileged to have met all of you (you know who you are) and I am looking forward to the momentum that we will create as a group
. Please feel free to comment on the community projects that you would be interested in working as a group on.
Some ideas so far are a denim drive (Jenny Pippin's idea), canned food for a favorite charity, trash pick-up around the Lake or my favorite picketing Duke Power. Just Kidding!
A special Thank You should go to the Bar Staff @ The North Harbor Club who did a fantastic job making us feel welcomed and at home. I especially loved the drink specials "Grass" and "Nuts and Berries"
